I have always been into XHTML and CSS, but recently I have been into dynamic pages. I have worked with MS ASP and ASP.net and I feel that ASP.net is a great programminglanguage. However, in my opinion PHP is the way to go for open development at the moment. PHP is such versatile scripting language. It is easy for beginners to pick up and once you are familiar with it you can easily pickup on other programming languages. The only real down side to PHP compared to .NET is that PHP will give you more opportunity to write bad code, where .net forces you to follow stricter standards.
